The Jamaica United Relief Association (JURA) was founded over 25 years ago, by a group of civic minded Jamaicans, in response to the need for a Caribbean oriented service organization, to meet the needs of those less fortunate or in need of assistance.

JURA, as it is popularly known has grown from its humble beginnings to a major charitable organization serving South Florida and the Caribbean, and will continue its growth and service as the community grows in awareness. Membership is open to all civic minded persons. Philanthropists are especially welcome.

Over the years JURA has joined forces with various organizations to co-host our Annual Independence Ball, which has been our main fund raiser. One notable organization is the Members Only Social Club of Miami (MOSCM) founded in 1996. JURA and MOSCM have been aiding the less fortunate both individually and collectively, with similar aims and objectives.
